Our Owners
Nick Cioce’s path into the home construction industry began humbly, working alongside his father as a teenager sweeping up job sites in Naples, FL. From the start, he learned that the smallest details often have the most significant impact on a project. His parents instilled a keen eye for detail in him, a quality that has earned Herrington Homes, LLC recognition for over 35 years.
After attending Villanova University, Nick became a CEDIA-certified design specialist, working with high-end audio/visual equipment and low-voltage systems for both residential and commercial applications across the East Coast. This experience taught him the importance of maintaining strong relationships and clear communication with clients, even at a distance.
In 2012, Nick joined Herrington Homes, LLC, focusing on constructing custom homes while continuing to build lasting relationships in Western North Carolina. He holds an unlimited building contractor’s license, the highest qualification in North Carolina, and remains committed to ongoing education through the National Association of Home Builders, with a focus on aging in place and green construction techniques.
As a second-generation custom home builder, Nick draws inspiration from his parents’ success and builds upon it by offering superior construction methods and personalized attention to detail. Over the years, he has cultivated a team of skilled craftsmen and developed an integrated approach to deliver a stress-free building experience.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys exploring the mountains of Western North Carolina with his wife and daughter. Together, they call Arden, NC, home, where they are raising their family and growing their custom home and remodeling business.
